Pedro Merani will present a seminar and workshop.

Pedro Luis Merani is the National Head Coach of the Qatar Bowling Federation since 2009.

First was in charge of the Youth National Program and from 2015 is responsible of the whole Elite Squad, Senior and Youth.

He has a Certificate in Sport Methodology (CENARD 1995) and he was part of the Methodologic group in charge of the Pan-American Games in 1995; as a bowling coach he was certificated by USBC as Silver Level (2008) and by the ETBF as Level III (2015). He has started his career as a Coach in 1986 in Argentina (86/03), then Kuwait (03/04), Hong Kong (05/08) and finally Qatar.

He has been pretty successful in all the countries he has coached, reaching his highest with the National Youth Team of Qatar, that he started coaching them from scratch, helping to win medals in the zonal tournaments (the last 3 editions of the G.C.C and the Arab in 2015)  Asian School (4 medals in 2015) the Silver Medal in the World Youth hosted in Nebraska, USA, in 2016 and reaching the peak last year winning 2 gold medals and the overall at the World Youth Championship celebrated in Detroit, Michigan.

He has practiced 7 years Tai Chi Chouan with the disciples of Master Tung in order to understand better the balance of the body in movement and from the mental side he has developed a teaching program based in “Zen bompu” as he has been disciple of Master Sensei Uchi Umi and Susana Kurokawa for the last 30 years.

His goal as a coach beyond educating athletes to be competitive in the field, is to influence them positively to help them to pursue their goals in life
